Southeast Asian Project Pitch 2022
 
Two industry members have joined our 3rd edition of SEAPITCH (Southeast Asian Project Pitch) to conduct online workshops for the 8 selected projects. They are experts in film development and have played key roles in the international scene:

• Vincenzo Bugno from Italy
• Lorna Tee from Hong Kong

Vincenzo Bugno

After graduating in literature, art history and cinema, Vincenzo Bugno worked as a journalist and film critic for Swiss, Spanish and particularly Italian (Corriere della Sera, Manifesto) media, later on for various TV broadcasters. For several years he has been a consultant/curator for film festivals. From 2006 to 2009, Bugno became a member of the Programming Committee at the Locarno Festival and Head of its Open Doors section. Since 2002, Bugno has worked at the Berlin International Film Festival as a Member of the Selection Committee and Festival Delegate. He is the Head of Project and a jury member of the Berlinale World Cinema Fund, founded in 2004 and initiated by the Berlinale and the German Federal Cultural Foundation with the objective of supporting film production in regions lacking a structurally strong film industry. Bugno is also Curator of the FeatureLab – TorinoFilmLab.

Lorna Tee

Lorna Tee is a film producer, programmer and curator, dividing her time between Asia and Europe. She has worked with Focus Films (Hong Kong), Variety (USA), Irresistible Films (Hong Kong/Japan), and also film festivals such as Berlinale, the CinemAsia Film Festival and others. She was the co-founder and Head of Festival Management for the International Film Festival & Awards Macao until 2020.

Selected filmography includes “The Beautiful Washing Machine”, “Rain Dogs”, “Crazy Stone”, “My Mother is a Belly Dancer”, “The Shoe Fairy”, “At the End of Daybreak”, “Lover’s Discourse”, “Come Rain, Come Shine”, “Postcards from the Zoo” and “Mrs K”.
